The
motorcycle is equip·ped
with
horn
C38
which
is
activated
(when
the
ignition
is
switche
d on) by
depressing
the
horn
button
at
the
left-hand
side
of
the
handlebar.
The
horn
is
regulated
by
means
of
the
adjusting
screw
located
at
the
rear
of
the
horn
body.
The BK854
switch
(Fig.
40)
is
used
as
a stop
light
switch.
This
switch,
encl
ose
d
in
a
protective
rubber
cap
, is secu·red by
two
screws
to
the
bracket
which
is
welded
to
the
right-hand
lower
side
tube
of
the
fra-
me. The
terminals
are
protected
against
~~

moisture
by a
rubber
cap.

The
switch
rod
is
linked
by
means
of a
spring
to
the
upper
arm
of
the
foot
brake
pedal.
When
th
e
brake
is
ap
plied,
the
spring
is
tensioned
and
moves
the
rod

ligh
ts of
the
motorcycle

closes
the
contacts

opera
ting
con
ditions.
Electric Wiring
The
sources
and
consumers
of
electric
power,
as
well
as
the
au-
xiliary
devices
are
connected
together
by
means
of p. v.
c.-insulated
~vire
grade
ITf'BA.
For
convenience
of
wiring
operation,
the
wires
(except
high-voltage
ones)
a
re
gathered
in
bundles.
The
w
ir
es
are
joined
together
and
with
the
consumers
through
the
use
of
metallic
co
uplers
which
are
pro
tected
against
earth
fault
by
means
of
rubb
er
tu
1bes,
all
the
wire
tags
being
pr
otected
by
rubber
caps.
The
bundles
of
wires
are
fastened
to
the
motorcycle
and
sidecar
frarne
with
the
help
of
bands
and
are
tig
h
tened
together
by
clips.
Provided
on
the
motorcycle
frame
unde
r
the
saddle
is
a block of
fuses

Servici
ng
the Ele
ct
ric Equipment
During
daily
maintenance,
check
the
operation
of
the
headlamp,
horn,
lamps,
storage
battery,
generator
and
ignition
system
.
If
the
electric bulbs of
the
h
ead

amp
are
out of order,
they
should
be replaced. To do this,
undo
the
screw
securing
the
head
l
amp
rim
