Servicing the Gear Box
Servic ing of the gear box con sists in tim ely replenishment o·f oil
jn the casi ng and adjustment of the clutch release mechanism, whe-

ever required.
J. Oil must be chan ge d at in ter • vals specifi-ed by the present in-
structi on s. The oil level in the casi ng should be checked with a dip-
ISti·ck, as d escribe d in the S ect ion "Prep a ring for a Ride ". The dip-
stick is provided with a red-painted polyethylene . head wh ich is u sed
as a breathei. The h ea d may be r emove d in case the breather has to
be cl ea ned.
