3.1 Intended use
The Isolette 8000 plus incubator provides a controlled environment for both
premature and full-term babies up to a maximum of 10 kg (22 lb). It controls
temperature, oxygen (optional), and humidity (optional).
3.2 Environment of use
The Isolette 8000 plus incubator can be used in any department of the hospital that
provides neonatal and infant care, including all levels of the Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU), Special Baby Care Unit, Step Down Nursery, Newborn Nursery,
and Pediatrics.
3.3 Indications/contraindications
The Isolette 8000 plus incubator is indicated for thermoregulation and controlling
oxygen (optional), and humidity (optional).
The Isolette 8000 plus incubator is not intended for home use.
