Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System
(Open Reservoir Scavenger)
NOTE: The open reservoir scavenger is intended for use
with suction (vacuum) waste gas disposal systems. This
approach to scavenging applies continuous suction to
transfer waste gas from the scavenger to the disposal
system. The open reservoir scavenger is an "open"
system in that it uses continually open relief ports for
positive as well as negative pressure relief.
1 Connect transfer hose to the waste gas port and to
the port of the scavenging system.
2 Connect gas-disposal-assembly tubing to the port of
the scavenging system.
3 Connect gas-disposal-assembly tubing to the wall or
ceiling VAC inlet.
CAUTION !
Do not use anesthetic gas scavenging sytem in
combination with extracorporal oxygenator.
