CO2 Alarms On/Off
The alarm limits for EtCO2, insp. CO2 and CO2 apnea
monitoring can be switched off with the
menu key »CO2-al. on/off« in MAN/SPONT mode.
In this case, the CO2 g symbol appears alongside
the measured endexpiratory CO2 concentration.
The CO2 alarm limits are reactivated by pressing the
menu key again. The disabled CO2 alarm limits are
reactivated automatically when changing to a different
ventilation mode.
The CO2 alarm limits can also be enabled and
disabled under "Alarm limits" in the configuration screen
in all ventilation modes, see page 81.
Disabled CO2 alarms are indicated by a g symbol in the
measurement field.
If only the etCO2 HIGH alarm or the FiCO2 HIGH alarm
are disabled (in the alarm limit menu), this is indicated by
a _ symbol in the measurement field.
The etCO2 _ and FiCO2 > alarms can be configured
»ON« or »OFF« in standby mode for the transition from
automatic ventilation. When the alarm limits are set to
»ON«, the value is transfered from automatic ventilation
mode.
