Selecting Waveforms
NOTE: Selecting waveforms is only possible from the
standard screen!
This menu allows the user to select and position three
waveforms (curves) for the current ventilation mode.
The following curves can be selected:
AGas anesthetic agent concentration at the
Y-piece
CO2 CO2 concentration at the Y-piece
Flow expiratory flow
O2 O2 concentration at the Y-piece
PAW airway pressure
Pleth plethysmogram (optional)
Instead of curves, the following display sets can be
selected:
blank blank field
Volumeter a display mode showing the minute
volume and tidal volume VT as numeric
display and bar graphs
Pressures numeric display of measured values for
PPEAK, PPLAT, PMEAN and PEEP
FG/volu Volumeter in combination with bar
display of fresh gas flow in L/min for O2
and N2O or AIR (virtual flow tubes)
FG/press Pressures in combination with bar
display of fresh gas flow in L/min for O2
and N2O or AIR (virtual flow tubes)
● Press »curves« menu key.
Display (example):
The name of the curves or display set in each field is
displayed together with the choice of possible
parameters. The current curves and sets are
highlighted by a gray background.
Example: To replace the waveform for PAW by the
volumeter set:
● Turn dial knob to select the desired
display set (»volumeter« ), press to confirm.
Your choice now appears against a white back-
ground.
The cursor jumps to the zz
