Anesthetic vaporizer (example: Vapor 19.3)
For safe filling procedure, please refer to Operating
Instructions of the respective Vapor.
1 Ensure that handwheel is set to "0" and engaged.
2 Filled to sufficient level.
3 Sealing slide valve inserted and screwed tight.
The plug-in adapter must fit evenly on the connection
block.
4 The locking lever must point to the left = locked.
5 The unused Vapor unit must be locked by the interlock
slider (example: left-hand Vapor locked).
Carry out a leakage test, see page 58.
Sample gas water trap
The maximum fill level of the water trap shall be
approximately 3 mm below the mark. If the fill level
reaches the mark, the water trap needs to be replaced

1 The transfer hose from the waste gas port must be
connected.
2 The gas-disposal-assembly tubing must be connected;
the anesthetic waste gas probe must be plugged into
the appropriate wall inlet.
3 Adjust flow regulator to place float between the two
marks.

Make sure gas-disposal-assembly tubing is not
pinched, kinked, or blocked in any manner.
WARNING !
Only use Dräger Vapor
19.3 or Vapor 2000
with Julian Anesthesia System.
