19.1 Setting the height of the transport clamps

Proper setting
When the flap clamps are closed, the raised transport clamps (4) need
to pass the machine arm without colliding with it.
The distance between the front edges of the raised transport clamps (4)
and the fabric sliding plate (1) should be at least 20 mm on the left and
the right.
To set the height of the transport clamps:
1. Check the stroke height of the two transport clamps.
2. Loosen screws (2) and (3).
3. Set the height of the transport clamps.
4. Tighten screws (2) and (3).
(1) - Fabric sliding plate
(2) - Screw
(3) - Screw
(4) - Transport clamps
