Electropneumatic operation (Class 272 740142)

When the green LED 4 is lit, the machine head is turned on. The three-way switch 3

determines the method of operation of the edge trimmer. At switch position I the edge

trimmer is switched on for normal applications. The switch position II is for the

turning-on of the edge trimmer at greater stitch lengths. At switch position 0 the function

is turned off.

When the yellow LED 2 blinks, the edge trimmer operates after the programmed

number of stitch count (Parameter 259 at the supplier level; Prerequisite: Parameter

255=2). The number of stitch count for the shutting-off of the edge trimmer is

established through parameter 258 at the supplier level.

The yellow LED 1 glows continuously when the edge trimmer is running.

6.15 Setting Dial on the Head Cover (with Class 274 standard

equipment; with Class 273 optional equipment 273 001041)

The lower end position of the sewing foot can be set with the setting dial 5. The setting

range is approx. 0-5 mm.
