8.1.13 Master Reset at the DA40MS02 Controls
All parameter values changed in relation to the preset values are reset to the preset
values by a master reset.
ATTENTION!
At a master reset several parameters such as e.g.
<700-707> (needle positions), <799> (selected machine
class) and
<800> (motor direction of rotation) are not reset.
After a master reset all machine-specific parameters
must be set as per the parameter sheet again. See
Chapter 8.1.12
Preparing the Master Reset
Turn the main switch off.
Step the pedal completely forward and hold in this position.
Press the keys M- and V- at the same time and hold down.
Turn the main switch on.

Conducting a Master Reset
Press the M+ key.
The master reset is initiated. If the master reset is not to be carried out, then the
M- key must be pressed.
The display shows the display mode 1.(See Chapter 8.1.2).
