NOTE:
1. Before exchanging a system board, write down the DMI information by
performing the test program. Register it to a new board by performing “DMI
Entry utility” in the test program. For details, refer to “3.3 Entry of the DMI
information”.
2. After exchanging to a new board, update also the EC/KBC to the latest version
by the test program or BIOS update. For details, refer to the Chapter 3 or
Appendix G “BIOS rewrite Procedures”.
3. After replacing the LCD, update the EC/KBC to the latest version by the test
program or BIOS update to set the SVP parameter.
There are following two types of connections in the figure of board and module connection in
this chapter.
(1) Cable connection is described with lines in the figure.
(2) Pin connection is described with arrow in the figure.
