Webserver
The printer can be controlled from a desktop PC or laptop using a standard
web browser.
Note: The Message Editor function is not available.
The following web browsers are supported:
• Microsoft Internet Explorer from version 9.0
• Mozilla Firefox from version 22
• Google Chrome from version 27
• Apple Safari from version 6
To connect:
(1) Connect the PC and Printer directly via Ethernet connection. See “PC
or Touchscreen to One Printer” on page 2-37. Or through a network
connection. See “Compact Touchscreen / Touchscreen / PC to
Networked Printers” on page 2-35.
(2) Power on the printer and start the PC
(3) Start the PC web browser application
(4) Enter “http://[IP address of the printer]” in the address field of the web
browser
Notes: (1) The default printer IP address is 192.168.125.201.
(2) If the IP address is not known See “Locating the Printer’s IP
Address when Not Known” on page 2-59.
