2. Complete one of the following steps:
• For the 15–40 kVA UPS, remove the screws from the gland plate. Then, remove the gland plate.
• For the 60–80 kVA UPS, remove the screws from the gland plates. Then, remove the gland plates.

3. For the 60–80 kVA UPS, complete the following steps.
a. Drill holes for the cable glands on the gland plates.
b. Install suitable cable glands on the gland plates.
CAUTION
Before you drill the holes, make sure that you removed the gland plates from the
cabinet. This is to prevent metal shavings or chips from entering into electronics
and causing damage to the UPS.
