NOTE This setting is available only for BladeUPS 12i models.
If you installed a customer-supplied external battery using the External Battery Interconnect accessory, set the
external battery capacity (in Watts per cell) to configure the UPS for the customer-supplied external battery.
The UPS uses the setting to adjust the predicted battery runtime.
CAUTION
Do not attach the External Battery Interconnect to an EBM. Doing so may cause damage to the EBM or the
UPS.
NOTE To install the External Battery Interconnect accessory, refer to the External Battery
Interconnect User’s Guide.
1. Press any button on the front panel display to activate the menu options, then select SETTINGS, USER
SETTINGS, BATTERY SETUP, and EXTERNAL BATTERY CAPACITY.

3. Press the
button to save the setting.
