3. Five and six UPS systems only. Locate the battery cartons on the separate pallet (see Figure 4 ).
4. If the battery pallet is not already moved, verify that the forklift or pallet jack you will use is rated to handle
the weight of the batteries and the pallet (see Table 1 for weight).
5. Insert the forks of the forklift or pallet jack between the skids on either side of the pallet to move it.
WARNING
The forklift jacks must be inserted between the skids of the pallet (see Figure 5). If unloading instructions are
not closely followed, moving the batteries may cause serious injury.
6. Use a forklift or pallet jack to move the battery pallet close to the installation area.
NOTE Do not park the pallet in a location that will interfere with installing the system.
