Technical alarms: (display in the area below the NIBP value):
NIBP module failure or
communication failure.
Stop using measuring function of
NIBP module; notify biomedical
engineer or manufacturer’s
service staff.
The hardware pressure
is too high
Measure again, if failure persists,
stop using measuring function of
NIBP module and notify
biomedical engineer or
manufacturer’s service staff.
The NIBP module has
failure.
Cuff is no properly
wrapped or no cuff
exists.
NIBP pump, valve, cuff
or tube has a leakage.
Check and replace the leaking
parts, if required, notify
biomedical engineer or
manufacturer’s service staff.
The airway of NIBP has
failure.
Cuff is too loose or
patient pulse is too
weak.
Use other method to measure
blood pressure.
Because of arm motion,
signal noise is too large
or pulse rate is not
regular.
Make sure that the patient under
monitoring is motionless.
Pressure has exceeded
the specified upper
safety limit.
Measure again, if failure persists,
stop using measuring function of
NIBP module and notify
biomedical engineer or
manufacturer’s service staff.
When the monitor is
powered on, NIBP
module is detected to
fail in calibration.
Contact your service personnel.
Cuff type does not
comply with the patient
type.
