Remove the bar pusher out and insert a
centering plug, pull the nylon string from the
lathe A, to the end of the bar feeder B.
Select a proper plug size for lathe the collet,
insert and close lathe collet, move lathe Z
axis to –Z over travel, pull the nylon string
tight and secure in place.
Directional adjustment
Move the bar feeder so that when using a
ruler or centering device, check the center of
the nylon string, nose adapter (C), and
spindle (D). The distance of the four
directions is to be within 0.15 mm.
