OPERATION
4.5.5 Remote setting
The terminals for remote input signal (I/O TB2) and remote output signal (I/O TB1) are fitted as
standard.
The CON4 connector (for SCU-350H/350HA only) is available with either of the following remote
operations. For the setting method of remote operation hardware, refer to Section 4.5.3, "CON4
connector (for SCU-350H/350HA only)".
1. Compatible remote operation with remote input output signal of STP-200/300/400 series through
CON 4 connector.
2. Normal remote operation through the terminals for remote input signal (I/O TB2) and remote output
signal (I/O TB1).

4.5.6 Starting/Stopping the STP pump (I/O TB2)
There are three methods for the starting/stopping operation. Use one of them.
Method
Starting the pump Stopping the pump
1 1. With the circuit between (2)-(3) shorted, short the
circuit between (1)-(4).
2. Short the circuit between (4)-(5) for 0.3 seconds
or more. However, when inputting this signal
simultaneously with switching "ON" the breaker
on the rear panel, short the circuit between
(4)-(5) for 5 seconds or more.
Open the circuit between (1)-(4).
2 With the circuit between (2)-(3) shorted, short the
circuit between (1)-(5).
Open the circuit between (1)-(5).
3 Input 25 V AC or 12 to 48 V DC between (3)-(5).
With DC, the (+) side can be connected to either (3)
or (5).
Open the circuit between (3)-(5).
Table 16 - Starting/Stopping the STP pump during remote operation (I/O TB2)
Note: The STP pump can be started by remote operation with any message displayed on the LCD.
Note: Although the STP pump sounds for several seconds while it is accelerating, this is not an
indication of abnormality.
