Z•Pad Connections
“C” Punchdown Locations
It is possible to use ELAN Z•Pad keypads as zone controllers in an S86A-based system. These keypads will con-
trol IR sources and S86A Controller function, but they WILL NOT receive RS- 485 status feedback. This means that
source selection status, shared source status, etc. will not be available to these keypads. Source selection and con-
trol are enabled and will function correctly.
