6.3 Automatic Filling with Pump (optional)
For the automatic filling, both potable water and completely
desalinated DI water can be used.
INFORMATION
If the water conductivity is < 2μS/cm then, at
commissioning (once!), the device must be added with
1 levelled-off teaspoon of table salt: For this purpose,
firstly dissolve the salt in a glass of water and fill into
the filling hole (A).
• The salt does not go over into the vapour phase
and thereby remains in the device so that the
addition must only be executed for the initial
commissioning, or after descaling the device
(Chapter 7.4.5)..
• Preferably operate the device with desalinated or
softened water.
• For operation with softened or desalinated DI
water, the maintenance intervals will be extended
and the cleaning result will improve.
The pump automatically fills the pressure vessel with the optimum
filling amount of water. There is no waiting time caused by
necessary cooling phases as with the manual filling.
As soon as the water level is lowered in the pressure vessel, then
the pump automatically fills the pressure vessel to the optimum
filling level.
INFORMATION
• Do not utilise the pump for filling an empty device!
• The pump is only suitable for refilling the device!
