NOTICE
If the device is supported incorrectly, shocks and vibrations can damage the coated
surface.
‣
Only use a support in conjunction with ECTFE or PFA plastic coating.
‣
Only use suitable supports.
Support the device in the event of severe dynamic load. Maximum lateral loading capacity
of the pipe extensions and sensors: 75 Nm (55 lbf ft).

11 Examples of support in the event of dynamic load
Marine approval: In the case of pipe extensions or sensors longer than 1 600 mm, a
support is needed at least every 1 600 mm.

• Open-ended wrench for securing the flange
• Allen key for housing locking screw
