10.6 Protecting settings from unauthorized access
The following option exists for protecting the configuration of the measuring device from
unintentional modification after commissioning: Write protection via write protection
switch
10.6.1 Write protection via write protection switch
The write protection switch makes it possible to block write access to the entire operating
menu with the exception of the following parameters:
• External pressure
• External temperature
• Reference density
• All parameters for configuring the totalizer
The parameter values are now read only and cannot be edited any more:
• Via service interface (CDI)
• Via Modbus RS485
