5.3.4.
RVM Controller Box
Follow these steps to check that the RVM Controller continues to function properly:

• Check that the cover is securely closed.
•

• Clean the screen on the exhaust fan. If the machine processes glass,
remove the screen and shake it out to remove the glass dust.

• Make sure that all of the harnesses are securely connected to the RVM
Controller Box.
5.3.5.
Display
Keep the display working well by calibrating it during each PM visit. Follow these steps:
1.
Go into the Diagnostic Program.
2.
Start at the Misc tab.
3.
Tap on Calibrate.
4.
Follow the on-screen prompts to press the green square starting in the upper left corner.

Printer
Follow these tips to keep the printer in working order:

• Keep the cover closed: It protects the print head from dirt. Refer to Figure 5-2

• Pull out the Print Head Lift Pin. Then, remove dirt, bits of paper, or other
foreign objects from the print head. Use canned air to blow out excess dust.
Push the Print Head Lift Pin back into position. Refer to Figure 5-2

• Make sure that the paper roll is level and that the paper feeds straight into
the printer. Refer to Figure 5-2

• You can test the printer by printing the last receipt. To do this, press the “Re-
print receipt” button as shown in Figure 5-1, “Open Door Screen,” on page 5-
2.
