1. Place the document(s) face up on the ADF with the top edge of the documents in first. Then adjust
the document guides to the correct document size.
2. Adjust the document resolution, referring to “Resolution” on page 220.
Loading an Original Document on the Document Glass
1. Open the document cover.
2. Place the document face down on the document glass and align it with the registration guide on the
top left corner of the document glass.
