Caution:
Do not store the cutter within the reach of
children. The cutter's blade could cause an
injury. Pay careful attention when replacing
the cutter.

Install the new cutter.
Insert the cutter so that the pin on the printer
matches up with the hole on the cutter. Use a
cross-head screwdriver to tighten the screw to
hold the cutter in place.

Important:
Tighten the cutter firmly, otherwise the cut
position may be slightly shifted or skewed.

Close the cover.
Push in the cover until you hear the upper
portion click into place.

Return the front cover.
Re-insert the four screws that hold the cover in
place and use a cross-head screwdriver to
tighten them. The shape of the screws differ for
the top and the front. Use the screws that come
with a washer for the front section (the
cartridge cover section).
If you are using the optional SpectroProofer,
install the SpectroProofer into place without
returning the front cover.

Important:
If the front cover is not properly in place, an
error occurs and the printer does not respond.
