Removing Jammed Paper
If a paper jam occurred, follow the steps below to recover.
1
Turn off the product.

Open the roll paper cover by using the cover open lever.
CAUTION
Do not touch the thermal head (See "Cleaning the Printer" on page 129.)
because it can be very hot after printing.
When a paper jam occurs, never pull out the paper forcibly.
