Checking the unit and accessories
Damaged unit or damaged accessories, modified unit or accesso-
ries
Danger of electric shock to the medical personnel! Danger of damage
to property.
Danger of injury for patient and medical personnel! Danger of mate-
rial damage.
Check the unit and accessories for damage before each use (e.g.,
footswitch, instruments, instrument tubes, gas tube, waste gas
tube, cart).
Check the gas connection, waste gas nozzle and instrument con-
nection in particular for damage.
Close the bottle valve if unwanted freezing or leakage occurs.
You must not use a damaged unit or damaged accessories. Re-
place defective accessories.
If the unit or accessories are damaged, please contact Technical
Service.
Blown power fuses may only be replaced by a competent techni-
cian.
For your safety and that of the patient: Never attempt to perform
repairs or make modifications yourself. Any modification will in-
validate liability on the part of Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH.
Putting the gas bottle into operation
1. Open the bottle valve.
2. Check the seal of all connections. No gas may escape.

Switching on
1. Before using the cryosystem, make sure that it has been correctly installed and
that the gas bottle is in operation.
2. Use the power switch to switch the unit on.
