The unit performs a self-test. If the input pressure at the gas connection is too low or
too high, you are requested to check the gas supply.

Plug the instrument connector into the instrument socket of the unit.

the patient's body.
Risk of a gas embolism. Risk of death for the patient.
Do not kink flexible instruments. Do not apply mechanical force
to the instruments.
Before each use, visually inspect the instrument and the instru-
ment tube for mechanical damage.
Read the notes on use for the instrument. If it is required to
check the function and leak-tightness of the instrument before
use, the check is described in the notes on use. The check is then
mandatory.
You must not use a damaged, leaky instrument!
