4. The room temperature should be between 15 °C and 25 °C. It is possible that
these values may be exceeded or may not be reached for a short period, as the
gas bottle only heats up or cools down slowly.
5. Check the thread of the bottle valve for damage.
6. Do not apply force to the gas bottle, gas bottle adapter and bottle valve.
Connecting gas bottle adapter
20410-003, 20402-060, 20410-
016, 20410-011, 20402-061 and
gas tube
1. Proceed according to the assembly instructions 80114-505. The assembly
instructions are included with the gas bottle adapters. The use of the sealing ring
between the gas bottle and the gas bottle adapter is mandatory. Without a seal-
ing ring, the cryosystem is not leak-tight.
2. Connect the free end of the gas tube to the unit (see Connecting the gas tube to
the gas connection p. 32).
3. Switch on the unit and press the Info button.
4. Open the bottle valve fully and note the input pressure that is displayed.
5. Close the bottle valve and monitor the pressure for approx. 120 seconds. The
pressure may only fall by max. 2 bar. If the fall in pressure is greater, one of the
connections is not leak-tight. Inform Technical Service. Do not work with a leaky
gas connection.
Connecting gas bottle to switch valve 20402-052
The switch valve 20402-052 is intended for use with the gas bottle adapters 20410-
003, 20402-060, 20410-016, 20410-011, 20402-061.

WARNING
Damage to the gas bottle, to the valve. Gas escapes at high pres-
sure.
If the gas bottle has been weakened due to serious damage, this can
lead to cracks in the wall of the gas bottle. Considerable stresses and
strains occur at the cracks, causing the gas bottle to break open. Gas
emerges at high pressure. The gas bottle is propelled like a rocket.
Risk of injury or death for patients and medical staff! Risk of damage
to property.
