2.12 Special-Purpose Side Door
With the special-purpose side door, you can use cables when the door is closed and
the OmniScan X3 connected to WeldSight (WeldSight Remote Connect). You can also
connect a USB drive (a 30 cm USB extension is included in the door kit).
The IP65 certification does not apply when using the special-purpose door.
The special-purpose door offers reasonable protection from objects entering the
OmniScan X3 but offers only minimal protection from rain or water. To use the
OmniScan X3 into wet or extreme conditions, Evident recommends using the
standard (sealed) door that is included with each OmniScan X3.
