Installing EXFO LabVIEW Drivers
To install the EXFO LabVIEW drivers:
1. If you do not intend to download files directly on your unit, connect a
USB memory key to one of the USB ports of the computer and
download the drivers from the National Instruments Web site to this
USB key.
2. From your unit, connect the USB key containing the required files.
OR
Download the drivers from the National Instruments Web site to a
folder of your choice on your unit.
3. Start the installation process as follows:
3a. Open the File Explorer ( icon in the taskbar under Windows
8.1 Pro).
Note: To access the File Explorer on your unit, from the front panel, press the
button to show the taskbar. From the lower left corner of the screen, tap the
Start button ( ),and then tap the File Explorer tile.
3b. Locate the Labview Drivers\setup.exe file, then double-click on it
to start the installation procedure and follow the on-screen
instructions.
For easier use, the drivers will be installed in LabVIEW’s default
instrument library folder:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\instr.lib.
