Hour Meter
Located on the right side of the control console in
the messag e displa y (see Figure 7 ).
T he hour meter records the n umber of hours that
the engine has r un.

T he hour meter is recording when the decimal point
is ashing in Hour/V oltag e displa y .
Hours are displa yed when the k ey is off or when the
mac hine is r unning .
Note: If the ignition k ey is tur ned to the “ON”
position for a few seconds before cranking the engine ,
the batter y v oltag e will displa y in the area where the
hours are nor mally displa yed.
Note: T he LCD indicators appear when eac h
control meets the “safe to star t” mode .
Drive Wheel Release V alves
Located
• F or X-Series: on the front of the h y drostatic
pumps .
• F or S-Series: on the rear of the h y drostatic
pumps .
Dri v e wheel release v alv es are used to release the
h y drostatic dri v e system to allo w the mac hine to be
mo v ed b y hand without the engine r unning .
With a 5/8 wrenc h, tur n both v alv es one tur n
countercloc kwise to release the dri v e system.
T ur n cloc kwise to reset the dri v e system. to 110-130
in-lb (12-15 N-m). Do Not o v er tighten. Do Not
to w machine.
PT O Engagement Switch
Located in the center of the console control belo w
the hour meter (reference Figure 4 ).
Switc h m ust be pulled out (up) to eng ag e the blades .
Switc h is pushed in to diseng ag e the blades .
T he LCD indicator will disappear when the blades
are eng ag ed (see Figure 7 ).
F or X-Series EFI Models:
Note: T he mac hine has a clutc h sa v er , whic h allo ws
the throttle to automatically reduce engine RPM when
the PTO switc h is eng ag ed/diseng ag ed or when
ste pping off the platfor m. Engine RPM will resume
its setting when ste pping bac k onto the platfor m and
resetting the PTO .
