To install and operate the device successfully, ensure compliance with the following facility
requirements.
Quick installation checklist
This checklist provides a high-level overview of the basic installation process from the planning stage to
the point where the device comes online and is ready to be deployed. Completing all the tasks in the
suggested order ensures successful installation. Extreme Networks recommends that you print this
checklist and take it to the installation site.
Follow the steps listed in the Installation Prerequisites table below to install your device. Details for each
of these steps are provided in the references indicated.
