Installation requirements
Review the installation and facility requirements for your product before mounting the device . Refer to
the hardware installation guide for your product for more information.
Lifting requirements
For 1U and 2U devices, two people are required to install the device in a rack. One person holds the
device, while the other screws in the front and rear "L" brackets.
Time and items required
Allow 15 to 30 minutes to complete the installation.
The following items are required to install the device using the Universal Two-Post Rack Kit:
• #2 Phillips torque screwdriver
• 1/4-inch slotted-blade torque screwdriver
