Starting the test routine
1. Switch off the power supplies (pins 1 and 2).
2. Open the node as descriped in chapter 3.2
"Opening and closing the node".
3. Note the positions of the DIL switch elements.
4. Set DIL switch element 1 at OFF.
5. Switch on the power supplies (pins 1 and 2).
6. Start: Within 5 seconds set DIL switch ele-
ment 1 at ON.
If the 5 second internal is exceeded, the valve
terminal assumes normal operation.
Stopping the test routine
1. Switch off the power supplies (pins 1 and 2) of
the terminal.
2. Set DIL switch element 1 at ON.
Please note:
If DIL switch element 1 is not reset at ON, the
terminal will not be ready to operate until after
approx. 5 seconds. This can lead to faults,
particularly if the IBS master and the valve
terminal have a common operating voltage
supply.
