DANGER
Risk of explosion due to an unsuitable operating fluid
Using an operating fluid that is not approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres
will cause an explosion.
• Use am operating fluid that is approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
• Observe country-specific regulations.
• Use hydraulic oils HL or HLP according to DIN 51524 part 1 and part 2 of ISO viscosity
classes VG 22 or VG 32 as operating fluid.
• Please observe the manufacturer’s instructions on handling the operating fluid.
• Information on the pour point and flash point is provided by the manufacturer and
refers to typical product values.
• The service life of the oils decreases with increasing thermal load.
Oil requirements:
• Suitability for sealing materials NBR and FPM
• Suitability for rolling-contact bearing with brass cage
• Compatibility with common liquid sealants and adhesives
• Compatibility with aluminium: AlSi9MG; AlSi10Mg
• low tendency to foaming
• Flash point COC min. 200°C
• Pour point min. 3°C (setting point min. 5°C) below minimum ambient temperature
The lubricant manufacturer or the lubricant supplier is responsible for the quality of an oil. If
in doubt, contact your oil supplier.
NOTICE
The oil quality and purity determine the service life of the FLUDEX bearings and shaft seal-
ing rings.
Oil grade recommendation for standard applications
For couplings with seals made of NBR or FPM and for continuous operating temperatures
from -20°C to +100°C.
