(Page27) and Commissioning (Page47).

Drain the operating fluid completely. Draining is possible via the openings of the fusible
safety plugs (103) or via the openings of the screw plug (163). Drain the residual oil from the
prechamber via the screw plug (173).
NOTICE
Risk of injury and danger to the environment from operating fluid
Collect the remaining operating fluid and dispose of the operating fluid in accordance with
the applicable regulations.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to falling coupling parts
Severe personal injury can be caused by falling coupling parts when loosening the tension-
ing screws if the parts are not adequately secured.
• Secure all coupling parts before loosening the tensioning screws.
8.4.1 Disassembling types FND, FNDB and FNDS8.4 Disassembling the FLUDEX coupling
Procedure
With types FND, FNDB and FNDS, you can disassemble the coupling without moving the
coupled machine.
1. Support/ hold up the main coupling of the FLUDEX coupling with suitable hoisting gear.
2. Loosen the screw connection of coupling part 2 (2) and 3 (3).
3. Move the coupling part 3 (3) axially.
4. Mark the mounting position of the coupling part 10 (10).
5. Loosen the bolt connection (23).
6. Remove the coupling part 10 (10) radially.
