The filling plug (153) and the fusible safety plug (103) or the screw plug (163) should remain
accessible.

WARNING
Severe personal injury caused by rotating components
Severe personal injury by touching the rotating components.
• Secure the coupling against contact by means of appropriate protective devices.
WARNING
Severe personal injury due to the use of unsuitable housing
During use in potentially explosive atmospheres deposits from heavy metal oxides (rust)
can ignite due to friction, impact or friction sparks and lead to an explosion.
• The coupling, which is made of aluminium, must be provided with stable housing
which excludes a risk of ignition, e.g. due to friction, impact or friction sparks.
• Deposits of heavy metal oxides (rust) on the coupling housing must be excluded by
the housing or other suitable measures.
• The housing must prevent unintentional contact with the coupling.
• The housing must protect against spraying hot operating fluid without significantly im-
pairing ventilation (see also notice on the coupling).
DANGER
Danger of explosion due to use of incorrect fusible safety plugs
If the wrong fusible safety plugs are used, an explosion may occur.
• Only install couplings with fusible safety plug approved for the temperature class for
use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
