<CONNECT> command.
The <CONNECT> command maps the time slots of the E1 interface on other ports of
the multiplexer. Port names and numbers of time slots to be mapped are used as
parameters. While configuring mapping on the V.35 interface, the range of TS numbers is
entered. When mapping on P1...P8 ports of the voice interface is configured, the TS
number is entered. The command without any parameters displays the current cross-
connect matrix.
Command syntax:
<CONNECT>|
(<CONNECT> <Px> <PCM1|PCM2> <TS>)|
(<CONNECT> <Px> <PCM1|PCM2> <mTS> <PCM1|PCM2> <sTS>)|
(<CONNECT> <V35> <PCM1|PCM2> <FTS> <LTS>)|
(<CONNECT> </H>)
where
PCM1, PCM2 are notations of Е1 streams.
Px is the voice port of the multiplexer (P1…P8);
FTS is the first TS in the range;
LTS is the last TS in the range;
V35 is the V35 interface;
TS is the time slot;
mTS is the Master-side time slot (to organize a pass channel of the Megatrans
signaling);
sTS is the Slave-side time slot (to organize a pass channel of the Megatrans
signaling).
Note: MEGATRAIN parameter is used to configure the pass channel of the Megatrans
signaling (see the <SIGNALING> command). MEGATERM
