User’s manual FlexGain Plex, V2
Version 1.3 72 from 99
Command syntax:
<PORT>|
(<PORT> <Px|ALL> <LEC> <ON|OFF>)|
(<PORT> <Px|ALL> <LOCK| UNLOCK >)|
(<PORT> <Px|ALL> <NRT> <level>)|
(<PORT> <Px|ALL> <GAINRX> <rx>)|
(<PORT> <Px|ALL> <GAINTX> <tx>)
where
Px is the number of the voice port (P1 … P8).
ALL means all ports (configurations are applied to all ports).
LEC sets the echo cancellation mode (ON/OFF).
LOCK blocks the port.
UNLOCK unblocks the port.
NRT sets the noise threshold for the noise suppressor (noise cancellation is available
only for MEGATRANS signaling (see the <SIGNALING> command)).
level is the threshold for the noise suppressor (0 … 200). The noise suppressor
operated in the following way: if the root-mean-square value of the signal is lower than the
specified threshold, the signal is not transmitted. If the root-mean-square value of the
signal is higher than the specified threshold, the signal is transmitted through the channel.
The threshold value of the noise suppressor is set in the range from 0 mV to 200 mV with a
step of 1 mV (the minimal threshold value of the noise suppressor at 1 mV is -58 dB). See
the “Daughter boards” section (table “correspondence of some values set by the <PORT
Px NRT> command to the signal level in absolute and arbitrary units”).
GAINRX sets the receiver gain.
GAINTX sets the transmitter gain.
rx, tx is the conditional gain from 0 to 15.
Note: GAINRX/GAINTX parameters are configured only for FXO/FXS interfaces. For
the E&M interface, the gain is set by jumpers on the 4E&M board.
The correspondence of conditional levels to real ones is presented in the Table
below:
Table 16. Correspondence of conditional and real signal levels in the FlexGain Plex, V2 multiplexer.
