during the collection time period that is set (e.g., 0/10 through 10 of 10
(seconds), or in "Dynamic"mode where time is expressed as a percentage
complete.
Figure 4-5 Instructions are displayed on the
desktop regarding the proximity of the detector
to the source. "Move Closer", "Move Farther",
or "Keep Distance" are the instructions and the
user should respond accordingly.
Once the identification is complete, the window will display
results.
Trefoil (plus)
This icon is used to extendthe indentification. Selecting it (using
the "Left" thumbpad button) starts a new data collection set for the
spectrum. The original (incomplete) set is stored in the "Records"
file (accesible via an operating system file manager when the
R200 is set to "Mass Storage Device" mode).
