Safety Information
See the Specifications section of the Operators Manual for a full agency
compliance list. Table 1 lists symbols that appear on the Recorder and in this
manual.
Warning
To prevent possible electrical shock, fire, or personal
injury:
Carefully read all instructions.
Do not work alone.
Do not use the Product around explosive gas, vapor, or
in damp or wet environments.
Use only insulated current probes, test leads, and
adapters as supplied with the Product.
Examine the case before you use the Product. Look for
cracks or missing plastic. Carefully look at the
insulation around the terminals.
Remove all probes, test leads, and accessories that are
not necessary for the measurement.
Make sure the ground conductor in the mains power
cord is connected to a protective earth ground.
Disruption of the protective earth could put voltage on
the chassis that could cause death.
Only use probes, test leads, and accessories that have
the same measurement category, voltage, and
amperage ratings as the product.
