Fine Azimuth & Elevation Tuning
Fine-tuning of the terminal’s azimuth and elevation alignment is controlled by the four-
point alignment yoke and steering block located at the rear of the terminal’s mounting
plate, as shown in Figure 26.
In combination with a tensioning spring in the mounting plate, the two tuning screws
provide precise alignment tuning, while the associated locking screws lock in your
adjustment when alignment is completed.

As a link comprises two SONAbeam terminals, your alignment toolkit will
require two of everything in order to provide a complete alignment kit at each
end of your link…
