Inserting the battery

► Position the battery at the edge of the casing (1).
► Push the battery into the battery compartment until it locks into position (2).
Modules
The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The following
modules can be operated in the module bay of your notebook:
● Second battery
● Drive: hard disk: second
● Combo drive (CD-RW/DVD)
● Multi-format DVD burner with double layer support
● Weight Saver

Only use modules designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the module.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the module bay.

You can replace modules during operation. This means you do not need to switch off the
notebook.
To replace a module, simply click on the corresponding icon in the task bar and then on
Exit or Select – Exit.
Then you can simply remove the module.
If the module is locked you can unlock it in the Control Panel or in the Fujitsu menu.
