Troubleshooting
The notebook's date or time is incorrect
Cause Troubleshooting
Time and date are incorrect.
► Double-click on the clock in the task bar and adjust
the time.
or
► Set the time or date in the
BIOS Setup menu Main.
The backup battery installed in the
notebook is flat.
If the time and date are repeatedly incorrect after
switching on the notebook:
► If that problem exists further more please contact
our service.
Battery indicator does not illuminate
Cause Troubleshooting
The battery is not installed correctly. ► Switch the notebook off.
► Check whether the battery is installed correctly in its
compartment.
► Switch the notebook on.
The battery is dead. ► Charge the battery.
or
► Install a charged battery.
or
► Connect the notebook via its mains adapter to the
mains outlet.
