Removing external WLAN antennas
► Undo the WLAN antennas by turning in the direction of the arrow (1).
► Pull the W LAN antennas in the direction of the arrow (3) and away from
the plug-in positions of the board (2).
Installing and removing heat sinks
Removing the heat sink
The s hape and position o
f the heat sink are device-dependent. The
approach is the same for
all v ariants.
► Open the casing (see "
O
pening the casing", Page 35).
► FUJIT S U Workstation C EL SIUS W570+ / W580power+: Open the drive cage
(see "
Open the drive cage " , Page 38) and pull th e drive cage out of the casing
(see "
Pull the drive cage out of the casing.", Page 39).
► Disconnect the fan
cable (FAN (CPU)) from the mainboard.

► Undo the
screws on the heat sink (a).
► Lift the heat s ink out of the casing (1).
You can
now replace the processor (see "
Replac ing the processor", Page 80).
Never o
perate the device without a heat sink! Before initial startup, install the heat
sink a
gain in the same way as it was installed in the device before r emoval.
