CPU Timeout Counter
The internal time monitoring of the processor can be activa ted or deactivated here. With internal
time monitoring activated, the processor detects both internal time-outs and time-outs on the CPU
bus. The processor signals this with an external signal. In th is case the system is restarted. If
time monitoring is deactivated, the system may "freeze-up" and be inoperable.
Disabled
Internal processor time monitoring is deactivated.
Enabled Internal processor time monitoring is activated.
