TPM Physical Presence operations
This Setup page cannot be accessed via the normal BI OS Setup. It is displayed automatically
during the BIOS POST proce ss if it necessary to make a change to the TPM configuration.
It can be initiated either by BIOS Setup or via an operating system with TPM support. T he
Trusted Computing Group (TCG) security provisions stipulate that configuration changes
must be confirmed again by th e operator (Physical Presen ce operations).

Check
s the boot sectors of the hard disk drive to see if any changes have been made since
the pr
evious system start-up. If the boot sectors have been changed and the reason for this
is un
known, a suitable comp uter virus detection program should be run.
Enab

A warning will be displayed if the boot sector has been chan ged since the previous
system start-up (e.g. new operating system or virus attack). The warning will stay
on the screen until you acknowledge the changes with Confirm or deactivate the
function (Disabled).
Confirm
This entry confirms a required change to a boot sector (e.g. new operating system).
Disabled The boot sectors are not checked.
