1. Check the cable between the Receiver uni
t
and the Display unit.
2. The problem may be caused due to the failure
of the RCV board or the CPU board.
To check the currently receivable stations and message types:
[MENU] -> Initialize 1 -> Available Rcv Station List
To set the received frequency:
[MENU] -> NAVTEX -> Local channel
To set the station and message type:
Ver-02.01
[MENU] -> NAVTEX -> Rcv Mask
Ver-01.02
[MENU] -> NAVTEX -> Rcv Station & Msg.
Can receiving monitor sounds be heard?
Are the receiving frequency, the receiving
stations and message types set properly?
Check monitor sounds in the following setting:
[MENU] -> System -> Signal monitor
Check the RX Test.
Are the results of RX Test OK on all frequencies
of 518 kHz, 490 kHz, and 4209.5 kHz?
Is voltage of +9 VDC applied to the
antenna terminal on NX-7001?
The Rx Test is executed in the following setting:
[MENU] -> Service -> Test

ote: To set the received frequency:
[MENU] -> NAVTEX -> Local channel
The problem may be caused due to the failure
of the CPU board or the RCV board.
If the test results are OK on any frequency, the
p
roblem is caused due to the failure of the RC
V
board.
