2. Auto Rcv Mask (On/Off)
This is the setting of On/Off of the Auto mode. See page 1-6 for the details of this
function.
This setting is enabled when “Manual” is selected in [MENU] -> NAVTEX -> Mask
Mode. If “INS” is selected for the “Mask Mode”, this setting item is not displayed on
the menu.
When set to "On"
Receiving stations are selected by calculation based on the own ship position data
and the service area of the station. The selection of “Station” is disabled in the setting
of [MENU] -> NAVTEX -> Rcv Mask, and the selected stations alone are displayed,
although “Message” can be selected.
In the Auto mode, stations are selected based on the data of [MENU] -> Service ->
Edit Station List. For this reason, these data needs to be changed when the position
and service area of the station are changed.
When set to " Off "
Receiving stations are selected manually.
To select stations, select “Station” and “Message” in the setting of [MENU] ->
NAVTEX -> Rcv Mask.
